Reinilde Zevenbergen - harp

As a little girl, Reinilde already knew that she not only wanted to play the harp but also wanted to become a harpist. Because there was no music school in the village of Rozenburg, she had to turn to the guitar.

She enjoyed playing the guitar, but the love for the harp was stronger and so she took the opportunity of starting to play the harp in Schiedam with Ingrid Wander-Oosten.

After two more years of lessons with Mapje Keereweer, she was admitted in 1979 at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.

In 1984 she recorded the Harp Concerto by Saint-Saens with the Hofstad youth orchestra as well as joining the National Youth Orchestra.

In 1985 she obtained her diploma D.M and U.M, and in 1987 the chamber music note award.

In the meantime, she had also become a teacher at the music school in Breda and a member of the Collegium Musicum Judaiicum conducted by Chaim Storosum.

She worked as a harpist with the Hoofdstadoperetta, and in Joop van den Ende theater productions like "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Sound of Music".

Currently, she works in a large range of productions as a freelancer as well as with the "Reina" duo.
